Levi has now completed one trip around the sun…his first, and the one in which he likely will change the most in so short of a time!ย And that’s where I enter, as a photographer, to capture these milestones in a series of images.ย Newborn images I do think are so very important to get…we are often overwhelmed by a new baby in our lives, full of sleepless nights and groggy days, and those first few weeks they change more than you would think is possible.ย But then, you forget how much they change from week to week.ย This is why Stacey decided she wanted a full year of images for Levi, because she knew how much her older boys had changed their first year, and wanted to make sure to catch all these changes in Levi (her possible last baby).
I got to meet young Levi as a newborn last year.ย I have known his family since his oldest brother was in my daughter’s daycare class.ย Levi is the 3rd boy, and as a newborn, his parents had no idea where his personality might lead him as the youngest sibling.
We got together again at 4 months old, where he went from a sleepy, sweet newborn, to a baby, interacting and loving the world around him, especially his family.
Then, again at 7 months…now sitting up.ย Wanting to move, but not quite there yet.ย Fully of smiles and laughter…one thing I can not deny is Liam is a people-person, and rarely was shy.
From 10 days old, to 10 months old, the laughter & giggles have taken over.ย Keeping Levi in one spot has become impossible…well, not totally.ย That’s what big baskets are for.
Which brings us to now…1 year old.ย Can you even believe it?ย It feels like just yesterday he was a tiny little newborn, fresh to the world.
