Avery | Cake Smash Charlottesville

I had such a great time photographing little, bright eyed Avery!

Skybird’s 1 year session options include adding on a cake smash, and what a fun way to commemorate a first birthday (contact us for more information on setting up a cake smash for your little one)!  Avery had been a bit under the weather, but she did great for her 1 year photos.  Then, after enough of that, it was time to introduce the cake:

It seems like my babies are one of two options:  either they dive right in and go all out, or they eat slowly and daintily, and need a little help.  😉  I’ll let you guess which one Avery was:

Yup, a little unsure!  However, she LOVED holding and biting the 1 candle.  😉

This adorable girl was a truly dainty eater.

I know Avery’s parents hear this ALL the time, but seriously, her eyes????  :swoon:

With a few more tastes, Avery got more into enjoying the cake!

So, not nearly as much cake carnage as I get with some of my cake eaters, but she still put a little hurting on it.  😉
