Excitedly Expecting | Charlottesville VA Maternity Photographer
Considering this beautiful family has welcomed their latest addition to the family over a month ago, I guess I should get my act together and blog Tamara’s maternity images! 🙂
This cutie and his parents came to the studio on a warm early fall evening (or, is it technically still late summer in September?), and we took a stroll down to the lake, my FAVORITE photo location.
The light is always gorgeous, as is the lake in the background.
Plus, there is fun things to see and enjoy when you’re a kid (or an adult, for that matter!). Ducks, fish, and of course, the neighbors walking their dogs down along the path. It’s always a lot of fun to see what we can see, and makes what some kids *think* will be a boring photoshoot, into something super fun.
Tamara is one of those stunning pregnant women, with the perfect belly. I just loved her dress, and the color combinations she chose. The blues were such a nice tone with the greens of the late summer trees.
And another thing I love to take advantage of are the beautiful backgrounds of flowers and grasses that people plant along the edges of their yards, and helps make for a pretty backdrop.
