Sarah + Matt | Veritas Wedding 3 Cats Photo 2nd Shooter

I’ve been a second photographer for Beth of 3 Cats Photo for 4 weddings now! AND it’s time to post the latest one from this summer, now that we are gearing up for a few more this fall (including this weekend, yay!).

However, I’ve noticed a trend. After my first wedding I shot with Beth (Erin & Megan’s wedding), the other following 3 weddings ALL had a groom named Matt. What? How is that even possible??? But if you can’t figure it out, I LOVE working with Beth. And apparently she likes working with Matts. 😉 I wonder if there are more Matts to come?

This summer wedding was no exception to the Matts…although we didn’t have our friend, “the other Beth”, with us on this one (but the gang is back together in just a few weeks!). However, it was still an exceptional wedding! Veritas Vineyards is a gorgeous location, open to wine tasting while we were in their gorgeous private suites at the other end of the building. The lighting is stunning, the views exceptional. Not to mention, getting to work beside and make new friends with the videographers, Micah and Josh of Devries Productions.

Plus also, June wedding + air conditioning? Heaven. We stepped out for the ceremony itself, as well as the first look and formals, but even then the weather was gentle to us. The reception details were soft colors and bright candles, and the bride and groom were so much fun. We really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

Although I still do not plan on ever becoming a wedding photographer (although newborn photography is tough on the body, it’s not nearly as long of a day as a wedding!), I do love getting out and shooting something a bit more unique and different from my usual work (the babeeeees). I’m so grateful to have this opportunity with Beth, and am looking forward to more to come!
