Luke | 1 Year old Charlottesville Studio Mini Session

Oh, the difference a year makes…here is Luke at a week old:

And HERE is Luke now, at just 2 days shy of being a 1 year old!

Can you believe it?  They go from 0 to 60 in a blink of an eye!  And of course, keeping a 1 year old still is near impossible.  So sometimes you grab a shot when they are dancing, or when they are getting an outfit change:

Luke came by the studio to try out an exciting NEW offering from Skybird Studio:  my in-home “Baby Mini Studio” session!  Basically, you pick out your backdrop color (here, we actually just used my studio wall, one of the options!) and we grab a few photos of your baby from 3 months up to 1 year.

This is a great option if you just want some quick photoshoots throughout the first year but don’t have a lot of time.  This session can be as quick as 15-30 minutes, which is great for a moving baby that gets bored pretty quickly with photoshoots.

However, I also still offer a series of full photo sessions for the first year as well (available individually or in a discounted package rate) that offer more flexibility with backgrounds and outfit changes.

Although these sessions are designed for your baby only, sometimes a sibling needs to come along (like Drew, here, who wasn’t in preschool that day), so I couldn’t resist snapping a quick shot of Drew while he was trying to show Luke what he’s supposed to do (sit still and smile!).  🙂

Our studio has a few props to help out (especially to keep a 1 year old still for JUST one second), and we’ll pull those out for your short session to add some variety.
