Crozet Cake Smash

Oh, Juliana!

I can’t believe it.  How can you already be 1 year old?  I remember her as a little newborn last December.  Her family had their Christmas tree up and house decorated, all ready for the arrival of their little girl.  Even her big brother, Jayden, was excited for such a cool early Christmas present!

Yes, one year later, she fits in this basket much differently!

Juliana’s mom has a lot of special touches she wanted to implement.  The white bonnet & blanket above are from her family.  But this shot took the cake (okay, well, that’s later in the blog!), where she is wearing her mother’s dress from when she was a baby.  All while holding her mom’s book that she also had as a baby.  PRECIOUS.

I love those little touches to truly make a photo session unique and special to the whole family.

More comparisons we had to make…including seeing how certain members of the family had grown (including big brother Jayden).

After all that fun, it was time for the big Cake Smash!  We styled this starting with the color green, Juliana’s mom’s favorite color.  I love purple and green, and the banner added just a bit more color pops to really pull it all together.

Juliana had a great time with her cake.

Did I mention?  A GREAT time???
