Unbelievable | Charlottesville Baby Photographer

Yes.  This.  This is the SAME BABY that was born weighing around 5 pounds.  Tiny little itty bitty guy…almost as small as my daughter, Piper, when she was born (and she was full term, just miniature sized to fit me).

For a trip down memory lane, take a look at Drew as a newborn.  Then, wow, some changes hit by 3 months.  6 months?!

Hold on to your hats, people.  Here is Drew, in all his sweet chub glory.

Yes, my friends.  This is the SAME.  BABY!!  He is SO adorable, I can barely stand it.  I had to email his mother, Jodi (who is also a photographer in Northern Virginia/Fairfax area, check out her website) and let her know I was tempted to consider having another baby, just looking at him.  He’s too cute.

We also had a surprise…Drew chose the moment I got to their house to pull himself up in his crib for the first time.  Having my camera ready, I got a shot for Jodi!

Great bed-head.  Poor guy sat down shortly after this and it surprised him…like most 8-9 month olds, he had a few mood swings.  He was very happy most of the time, but did have a few minutes of “stranger anxiety”.  Luckily, I’m not all that scary, and he warmed up to me very quickly.

And of course our favorite comparison shot that really shows the incredible amount of growth!  This first year really is so full of changes.  Speaking of which, Jodi cut her hair in a beautiful short cut here, but luckily you can’t tell.  I had to pretend yell at her for dare changing her hair when we had 2 more photoshoots to do this shot!  😉

A beautiful day outside, actually a bit too hot, but we captured a few outside.

And back inside (it WAS hot, after all…it seems like we are now having summer in October instead of in August, when it was in the 70s most of the month, while it’s been in the 80s here lately).

And, well.  It IS Halloween.  The requisite Pumpkin head shot???  Yup.

Keep on trucking, Drew!  Next up will be the big 12 month session cake smash!  Cannot wait to see you next time.
