I was so excited to meet this little guy this summer. Meet, Lukas:
Lukas’ mom, Sarah, is a friend of mine…we share similar age daughters, and an extreme love of cats (and wine). I should look into a kitty stuffed animal prop for my fellow cat lovers!
I was so excited to get to be one of her first friends to meet Lukas…admittedly, this is one of the perks of my job. And I brag about it frequently. 😉
Lukas was the perfect level of sleepy goodness, and great fun to cuddle. I love it when I get a calm, deep sleeper, and he was definitely relaxed.
Sarah jumped in for a few photos with Lukas, which I always appreciate. We have all seen various blog posts and news articles (and a favorite commercial) about remembering to hand the camera over (partners and family…push this yourself, grab that camera & get in the shot!). But when you bring your little one in for their photoshoot, when I ask if you want some photos with them, think about it. Even if you are tired or didn’t come prepared…that photo might be quite a treasure to your children. 😉 Sarah wasn’t planning on it, but went, you know what, why not, and I’m so glad she did!
Fall is almost upon us, so it has been nice to get a few outdoor shots here & there with my various summer sessions:
