Cecilia…You’re breaking my heart | Forest Lakes VA Photographer
If you can’t tell, I’m a HUGE fan of the name Cecilia. Or perhaps it’s more obvious that I like Paul Simon’s music. 😉 But, well, it’s both. “Cecilia” was on my short-list of names for my daughter (who ultimately came out as Piper), and I loved having the opportunity to meet a Cecilia in the flesh! Meet 2 week old Cecilia:
Cecilia is one of three girls…I photographed her two older sisters last fall (in honor of Olivia’s 2nd birthday)…it’s shocking how much they’ve both grown!
Being a spring baby, I had to pull out the stuffed rabbit (one of my favorite things in the world, this little stuffed bunny!)…
AND with it being a beautiful spring day with a beautiful spring baby, we HAD to take a step outside as well:
While the big sisters were here, we got some photos of them in honor of Sophia’s 4th birthday.
After the older girls did their part, they got to relax in the sitting room while we kept going with more photos of sweet Cecilia. I love when I get a chance to get some shots while newborns are awake, to see the deep blues of their eyes as they take in the world.
And of course I never want to forget those precious details.
